Join me in May for not one, but TWO Open Studio Notts events!
First up, on 9/10th May I’ll be with my Design Nation buddies in the The Radcliffe room at The Grange, Radcliffe on Trent, Notts NG12 2FB
Alongside my work, you’ll see:
Suzy Ager Textiles – Suzy layers fabric and stitch to capture the beauty and character of British wildlife, translating drawn foundations into tactile illustrations.
Su France Designs – Earth pigment artist & printmaker creating with foraged botanicals, local pigments, and kintsugi techniques, celebrating the soil, land, and what is precious.
Jane Frost Jewellery – Born out of curiosity, wonder and above all, passion. Jane creates precious award winning contemporary jewellery that is well made, unique and imaginative.
Barinder Gahir – A mixed media, surface pattern and textile designer, Barinder explores how textiles “ground or root us” by reusing heritage cloth and threads
Mary Johnson Ceramics – Wheel thrown, slip decorated, earthenware ceramics. Contemporary ceramics with hand drawn sgraffito decoration for and about wild plants
Sarah Burton – Contemporary ceramic bowls, vases and sculptural fish, decorated with colourful glaze & inspired by the oceans and landscapes.

Then the following weekend do visit for my actual Open Studio. You will see my ‘Bel the Giant’ collars before they head off on exhibition again. As usual at my Open Studio, you’ll find a mix of Nottingham lace history, textile art and gifts, all in the beautiful setting of my cottage garden. The studio will be open to the public on 16th and 17th May, 10-5. Entry is free!
