I’ve got a busy summer coming up!
In July I travel to Karlsruhe, Germany (again!) to take part in a group showcase with the GEDOK group of women artists there. Entitled ‘Connections/Verbindungen’ the show will emphasise the importance of maker networks, and celebrate the 50th anniversary of the city’s twinning with Nottingham. It will run from 19 July to 30 August 2019. You can read more here
Then during August I am taking part in the ‘Cog-niscent’ exhbition at the Sam Scorer Gallery in Lincoln. Organised by the Design Nation Lincolnshire group, the show will feature a collaborative work to which we have all contributed! I’ll post pics when it’s up and running. It will run from 20th August
October sees another Design Nation group exhibition. This time the Nottinghamshire regional group is reciprocating the ‘Verbindungen’ theme with a group showcase in Lakeside Gallery shop. We have invited three Karlsruhe artists to send work and take part alongside the Nottinghamshire folk.
At the end of October, Samantha and I are putting up a small solo show as ‘PorceLace‘, as the National Centre for Craft and Design in Sleaford. This is very exciting as we haven’t worked together for a while and have some new and hopefully interesting new ideas! Watch this space for dates and more details.
